If you wake up every morning, feeling less confident about yourself because of the size of your breasts, then pay attention. Breast augmentation better known as breast enlargement or Boob Jobs has been the solution for increasing bust sizes for years.
A breast enlargement operation takes no longer than two hours. It is performed under local anesthetic. Your Doctor should advice you on the places that incisions can be made for the implants. You’ll have a choice of four namely: infra-mammary incision (under breast), Trans-axillary incision (under arm), Peri-areolar incision (under nipple) and Umbilical incision (through the belly button). Implants also come in different textures; they can either be smooth or textured.

Textured implants prevent any rotation of the implant once it’s placed in its position. Textured implants are also known to be better receptive by breast tissue in most women. Smooth implants can fit easily through smaller incisions without causing much damage to the wound. For women older than 40 years, might be advised by their doctor to have a mammogram before the operation. You also have a choice on the type of implants you want, either saline or silicone implants. Saline implants are filled with sterile water, the amount of saline in the implant will depend on the shape desired or how firm you want the implant to be. Saline implants are known to collapse and leak, should this happen the saline will be absorbed and excreted by the body naturally. Silicone implants are filled with elastic gel. The gel feels and moves more or less like usual breast tissue. |
It’s unlikely that silicone implants will leak, but if they do, the gel may remain within the implant shell and later escape but will eventually also be excreted by the body naturally.
| The operation is more painful for women who have never had children. Incisions made under the arm are also more painful and take longer to heal. My Medical Choice offers more choice on treatments and surgeries. When you wake up after the surgery, you should feel stiff, tired and a bit sore. Your breasts will be covered with gauze bandages, and another tighter layer for protection support. Anti-biotics and anti-inflammatory tablets will be prescribed for you; best you sort this out before hand. Swelling after the operation is normal, but if it persists longer than10 days, then you should contact your Doctor. Scars from the incisions may take months to fade away. Days later your gauze dressing will be removed. Depending on where your incisions are, you may not be able to take a shower for a few days. Read up on other articles on Boob jobs. |

During your recovery period it is important that you rest and not perform exhausting activities. You should also avoid raising your arms, as this forces unwanted movement on the bust area. For a confidence booster like this a well deserved $9 250 AUD, is more than worth it. Click here for testimonials.
